I don't know why I bother tryin over at assholes.ca

It seems so futile.....for example on the Ford topic at the old Athletic Hall site. Dingo says that a truck parking area is needed as well as a Truck Stop kinda thing.which maybe is not a feasible thing...whatever...point is there are no places to park rigs other than on City streets...no place to wash them..other than Shell station...and they are not fond of a bunch of mud..MMJ seems to think there is tho....you have a bunch of out of town logging trucks parkin at local motels....fish haulers with no place to park their reefer units when not in use.....part of the reason for closin parkin by old Athletic Hall was complaint of noise by reefer units left running during fishing season.....

If you go to City or Regional District and ask about availiable properly zoned land for any kind of Industrial application...there is none...the Regional District will tell they gots the Devils Den which is kinda across from the Garbage landfill and nothing there other than the abandoned Tire Recycle Plant and access only by dirt road and not too handy to get at....

I dunno how do you sell investing here in any Industrail type business when ya gots nuthi to offer them???????

the day they closed that parking lot for the trucks was one of the stupidest things they have done.
It was a busy little place needed by many. oh well maybe we could store our extra garbage can there..


I know you could always park a couple trucks on redford in front of the Macdoos lots of room dair

yaa good one Gordy...park em back ta back all up and down Redford on both sides...I gotta agree with Caroline tho...a study of some sort does need to be done for that area.....seems to be the theme with this town being helter skelter where things go......we needs a game plan.....unless the highway is rerouted to the Wet Coast to lighten traffic in that area...perhaps the whole Clutesi Marina boat launch should be abandoned.....maybees build a whole new somewheres...the old Plywoods site perhaps...or leave the Clutesi berthing where it is and move the Launching outta there..the North end of the Catalyst property sits empty would give ya lots of room fer parking....have one huge length boat launch area....
