Forum Problems
A little C&P from Jimmy on another thread.
I just downloaded Firefox and it seems to work now with no issues.
I had the same problem as well as others that have kept me away from here for a couple weeks.Jimmy Sx wrote:why the fuck is my screen blackened out 1\3 of the way down?
Horseshit and worse, haven't checked in here in a while, begining to know why.
I just downloaded Firefox and it seems to work now with no issues.

Ha ha I had to look up how to refresh your browser. You press F5 (above the number 6 key) on your keyboard. It works well.

Use Chrome its the best browser out there at the moment. FF was the browser of choice at one time but they have strayed. Please tell me none of you are using IE
Re: Forum Problems
If you want real search answers you don't use Google anything; chrome, platinum, rubbers......

Re: Forum Problems
I was using Google Chrome and having problems so I switched to Firefox and it improved. Because I am a creature of habit I missed Google Chrome...so I went back. Now it is working better than ever. Maybe my computer needed a shake-up?

Especially if you install Adblock from their app page. I accidentally opened facebook with IE and holy crap! There's ads everywhere. Got spoiled with Chrome . . . it stops them dead.

Install adblock on IE and you will be ad free too. I use FF for everything and no problems at all.

Re: Forum Problems
Hey: When I login to the website with my iPad it actually displays it in a mobile/tablet friendly way! Which is awesome. Unfortunately, the color scheme in the forum posts is not the same as what it is on the regular site... regular posts (not-quoted) are nearly black-on-black which obviously is incredibly hard to see, especially in lower light.
Just a heads up. Would be supa-cool if you could fix it. And if you don't have an iPhone or iPad or Android device to test it with just let me know and I can send you a

Almost all the Beaver Creekers way out where and all who live in the Beauforts that I know are on dial up. A few are on Satellite modems but these are pricey.

Re: Forum Problems
just signed on and it seems I need to change my browser to firefox to be able to read posts on this contrasting screen. WTF? Would it be easier and less intrusive to please change the background on this board?

Welcome aboard jackclank.
I also am new to this board but, I have not had one problem like I hear others speak about? I use google Chrome and Mcfee.
I personally like the background on here, I see and read everything perfect and, I wear glasses to read.
Please do not change the back ground I really like everything about this new Blog, especially not having to be rep reminded like a little kid at school. Yet certain special people got away with what ever they said This IMO is a FREEDOM OF SPEECH BOARD! I sure hope it never changes!!! Thank you Tom for seeing the big picture!!!

Because it doesn't affect you it's not a problem Lionking? Kinda makes your welcome a bit hollow my friend.
Just a little adjustment in the colour contrast is all I ask.
Thank you

Just clear your cache and it should be fine. Sorry I haven't been around for a while reality tends to get in the way
Wrong intention taken
When I welcomed you on here my intention was all good. Sorry you took it wrong. There has been a fair amount of discussing about this on the forum. Anyways again welcome aboardjackclank wrote:Because it doesn't affect you it's not a problem Lionking? Kinda makes your welcome a bit hollow my friend.
