Teachers Pro day
I see they are still going ahead with a "Professional Development" day this Fri, March 30th. I'm a little confused as to what a striking teacher does on this day. Wouldn't this be considered extra curricular? Is it just another payed day off?

Re: Teachers Pro day
That was my point. What the hell happens at a pro day anyways..its not like teachers don't have plenty of opportunity to do that dance without the kids missing another day of school. So I guess my question is if the teachers are on strike and they can't put out so much as a report card, what are they doing on pro day?

The teachers do need another shopping day so it will stand as it keeps the economy running.
