Science event returns to Alberni Valley

For the second year in a row, Science World will bring its famous wacky approach to science education to Port Alberni and the West Coast.
The second annual Community Science Celebration (CSC) in Port Alberni takes place on Saturday, Feb. 11, wrapping up a week of science, technology and innovation activities taking place throughout the region.
The celebration includes eye-popping science shows, demonstrations, challenges and an opportunity to meet people in your community doing cool science every day.
The science celebration takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alberni Athletic Hall and North Island College campus, at the top end of Roger Street.
Admission is free to all residents.
